An Abstract

Today’s book is Abstracts in Acrylic & Ink by Jodi Ohl:

I focused on her “Exploring Shapes and Patterns” chapter.  In the featured photo above, I started with a white blank canvas.  It isn’t finished, but I decided to let it rest for awhile.

Then I decided to try again on this:

These are my first few steps:

And then I was really stuck.  I turned it in all directions. I made several photo copies of it and played around on those.  I decided I didn’t like it, but I had no time to start again.  Here’s the finished-for-now piece:

I will work on this more at a later time.
