This is an old art journaling page of mine I came across. This expresses what I want and how I feel, but what is on my mind right now is fear…and a little panic. It’s scary to put yourself “out there”.
I am offering this post as a way of saying “Hi” to all of our Crooked Line Studio friends and future friends. I’d like us to get to know each other better. Share our journeys and ideas. “That isn’t scary at all. That is exciting! Breathe…” says my Better Self.
My intent is to be courageous. Not to be confused with the bravery of soldiers on a battlefield or someone battling cancer or…you get what I’m saying. But the original meaning of the word which I first learned in Brené Brown’s book “The Gifts of Imperfection”. The root of the word is “cor”, which is latin for heart/soul/spirit. Courage originally meant “to speak one’s mind by telling all one’s heart”. And that’s what I intend to do. And I invite you to do the same.
Thanks for stopping by.
